DramaTech

DramaTech offers a thriving theatrical laboratory environment at Georgia Tech that enriches the greater Atlanta community through innovative and diverse live performances.

DT has been housed in a variety of buildings, including the Crenshaw Field House, the Community Playhouse, the E.E. Center for the Performing Arts (a.k.a. “the Old Church”). In 1992, DramaTech found a home in the Dean James E. Dull Theatre, the black box theatre of the Robert Ferst Center for the Arts. Dean of Students Emeritus James Dull and his wife, Gay Dull, are long-time supporters of DramaTech Theatre.

Aside from mainstage productions, DramaTech also includes an improvisational comedy troupe Let’s Try This! and a musical theater group VarietyTech. These groups perform in DT’s black box theatre, and LTT! performs in other locations on and around Tech campus several times each semester.
