The Count of Monte Cristo

Betrayal, obsession, and redemption provide the backdrop for this adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' classic novel that centers around wrongly imprisoned Edmond Dantes who escapes jail to enact his revenge on those who betrayed him. As he becomes increasingly consumed with his quest for vengeance, he loses his humanity and any hope of reconciling with the love of his life.

"...an impeccably solid piece of theatrical work...the whole thing thrilling from swash to buckle..." -- The Wall Street Journal
