DramaTech EC Meeting October 25, 2011

Business Manager (Dan O'Rourke):
- Have reimbursements to get to Nihn
- Streetcar has areas going overbudget, but still underbudget overall
- Will put out a call for house positions

Production Manager (Andrew Nemchik):
- Less than a week away from Tech Week
- Looking for at least 2 stagehands
- Trying to form production meetings for VT
- Still looking for a few crew positions for VT
- Will put out a call for Lyceum
- Will put out a call for CIT

Marketing Director (David Hollis):
- Program being made
- ACTORS NEED TO SEND BIOS
- Want a Director and President's letter
- Need special thanks
- Will be submitting for the student center plasma screens and technique tomorrow
- Would like to put out the sandwich board
- Will hopefully have a proof of the poster tomorrow
- Will arrange work for work hours next week
- Sandwich board painting during set party on Tech Sunday

Secretary (Alyssa Kuncaitis):
- No Report

Member at Large (Rook Jarrett):
- No report

President (Melinda Ellington):
- Melissa will be holding onto Keller's report in case anything further happens so as not to have a negative impact on Keller's standing at the university. This is possible if the report is turned in to Student Involvement
- Getting the door form Pride on Thursday
- Need a contract for Lyceum

Artistic Director (Melissa Foulger):
- Wrote a fire action plan for the show for the fire marshall
- Stuff came in the mail
- Show is happening
- Met with the President on Friday

• Thinks that the theatre should be run by the Ferst Center because thinks it will be better run by one entity
• There will be a meeting November 1 to update the planning committee
• Have been working on a long email to send to inquiring club and alum. Was waiting on the meeting with the President to have the most up-to-date information.
• President is looking forward to coming to the show, going to speak for 3-4 minutes
• He wants to see more promotion of arts on campus between groups, so we need to put other arts groups' events in the program

TSC:
- Rats
- Cable out in CFA
- Small website outage happened Friday, fixed
- Some of the sound cables are here
- Things need to be locked up
- Have a request in about the fire door
- TSC Meeting Thursday at 7

Committee Reports

LTT!
- Improvathon November 5th - Robert Lowe workshops November 19th and 21st. Had to cancel the 12th for a wedding.
- LTT! on the Radio November 3rd
- Three shows coming up
- Charter meeting this Wednesday

Historian:
- No report

PRC:
- Narrowed down musicals and fall shows
- Will be ordering scripts soon

PPM:
- Open Meeting on Thursday 6pm and Tuesday at 11am
- Things going out in Weekly Update
- Submitting on the 2nd, discussion on the 16, voting on the 30th
- Starting new drafts, working on Production positions
- Safety manual should go in PPM, Dan will draft

VT:
- Had first meeting to address student thoughts about VT - More meetings to come

Old Business:
- First Aid class needs to happen
- Sam will still be submitting amendment, Hollis will work on the website requirements list
- Quigley needs to schedule Post-Mortem

New Business:
- Dan wants to take co-control of the Radio Show idea to make it actually happen, want to form a committee?
