DramaTech EC Meeting August 30, 2011
Business Manager (Dan O'Rourke):
- Melissa and Dan will get with Nihn about reimbursements
Production Manager (Andrew Nemchik):
- Had Open House
- In the middle of Streecar Auditions
- Still looking for props and make up designers for streetcar
- Closing the call fro student directed one acts
- Buzzcard access will be given today
- Need to do an Open House postmortem
- Need ops for BBCT
Marketing Director (David Hollis):
- BBCF posters have been ordered, postcards will be ordered soon
- Marketing class will be Thursday at 4:30
- Marquees will be changed during the first marketing class
- Putting out a call for poster and program design for Streetcar
Secretary (Alyssa Kuncaitis):
- 6 candidates for MAL, elections tomorrow, will make ballots tonight
- Weekly Update Tuesdays at 8pm
President (Melinda Ellington):
- Presidents Summit, taking Dan and Alyssa
- Jacketpages changing
Member at Large (Josh Mysona):
- Getting replaced at club meeting tomorrow. Bye.
Artistic Director (Melissa Foulger):
- Need House crew for BBCT, need sign up sheet
- Have a lot of food left over form Open House and need to get rid of it
- Met with environmental health and safety, getting a defibulator
- Will be having a first aid and CPR class
- Spoke with Drea Lewis about upcoming performing arts networking event, DramaTech/FoDT will have its own committee as a part of that
- Talked to parking, buzz in gone, parking considering giving us a code back
- Need signs for BBCT for people to get from vistors parking to DT
- Trying to get Keith a buzzcard
- Need to talk with TSC about parking permit policy for guest designers and people who need to park here during the day for a specific reason
- EHS Safety people will come check out our shop, and can come and teach how to safely use equiptment
- CFA wants to borrow our skrim 10/5-9
TD/TSC:
- Working on pricing info for vectorworks
- Recombo should happen shortly
- Status of drips?
- Fire Marshall - need plan before next official visit
- Going to reset passwords and put them on the back of combo sheets
- Genie repair set for September 6
- Getting sewing machines fixed
- Getting fax machine number?

- Had a lot of newbies at workshop
- Newbie workshops start
- Pub Wolf nominations opening
- Trying to create a charter by the end of the year
- LTT contacted about having an hour block on WRECK Radio with Travis
Open House:
- Open House is done
Historian:
- Will attempt to get posters once they are put out
- Open House got taped
- Sam and Jess have pictures from Open House
- BBCT and BBCF need to be taped
BBCF:
- BBCT next week
- Q will hackle people to fill last positions for BBCT
- Need to start getting people for BBCF
- want to take advantage of Student Center advertising for BBCT and BBCF
- BBCF Banner Space is reserved
PRC:
- Chair is Julia Odum
PPM:
- Chair is David Quigley
Old Business:
- Thomas and Solace voted approved for TSC
- Removing Drew from the TSC?
- Melissa sent out info from meeting with the architects
- Want to maintain DramaTech control over the space during the rennovation
- Will be more rennovation info coming
- Will not be moving RENT into CFA, want to extend the run a week longer? Vote = extended
New Business:
- Radio Drama starting up, free advertising by having a show on WRECK Radio, need to present at club meeting tomorrow
