Open House 2011: Nailed It!

DramaTech is the student run theater on Tech campus. Having opened our doors in 1947, we are the oldest continuously running theater in Atlanta. DramaTech has always provided a wide array of opportunities for students in both acting and technical theater. Since DramaTech is a student run theater, students do everything from acting and directing to designing and building, and we are always looking for new faces with fresh ideas.

Each year, DramaTech puts on an Open House to invite people to become involved in the theater. Open House is an opportunity for us to show you all the amazing things DramaTech members can do and where we encourage you to participate. There will be performances by current DramaTech members and freshmen, as well as games, workshops, tours, free food, and much more, so please come join us for DramaTech Theater’s Open House from August 21-28.

Opportunities at DramaTech
Acting, improv, stage management, set design and construction, light design and hanging, costume design and construction, sound design and engineering, props design and constructions, dancing, singing, makeup and hairdressing, run crew, box office management, poster and program design, and directing.

Where to Find Us
DramaTech is located at the north end of the Ferst Center for the Arts, near Boggs Chemistry Building. We are always happy to have visitors, so swing by and ring the door bell at any time, day or night.
